Medical personnel who were honoured include Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel John Jarvis QHS who received the CBE, while OBEs went to Colonel Mark Byers of the Royal Army Medical Corps and Colonel Jane Elizabeth Davis QVRM TD DL of Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, Territorial Army.
Other recipients include Lieutenant Colonel Richard John Sydney Reid, TD, Royal Army Medical Corps who received the MBE; Major Helen Purvis of Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, Territorial Army, who received the Royal Red Cross, Second Class, and Lieutenant Colonel Iain David Levack, TD, Royal Army Medical Corps, Territorial Army, who received the Queen’s Volunteer Reserves Medal.
The recipients will formally receive their awards from the Queen at a presentation ceremony to take place later in the year.
